About Us
About Us
An architect and an engineer
designed a dog bed.
Not a pet brand chasing trends — two brothers with backgrounds in architecture and engineering who looked at the dog bed market and decided to start from zero. Every dimension drawn in CAD. Every component purpose-built. Every material independently certified.
The Problem We Saw
Why We Started
A dog sleeps twelve hours a day. Half its life is spent on whatever surface you give it. And yet the industry standard for a “premium” dog bed is two centimetres of foam inside sewn fabric walls that collapse within a season. No safety testing. No provenance. No certifications. Just a product designed to be replaced.
We didn’t think that was good enough. So we drew something better.
Designed from Scratch
Architecture Meets Engineering
The Signature Range wasn’t adapted from an existing product. It was designed from the ground up — every dimension, every curve, every component drawn in CAD by the two of us. An architect’s eye for form and proportion. An engineer’s discipline for structure and tolerances.
We provided the complete technical drawings to the factory and worked with their team to build three separate CNC-machined steel molds: one for the structural shell, one for the memory foam pillow, and one for the EVA base. No cutting from sheets. No sewing fabric walls. Every bed is poured into precision tooling, making each one dimensionally identical and permanently structured.
The Signature Range
Materials & Provenance
We partnered with a factory that specialises in sheepskin boot manufacturing — the same type of artisans who produce UGG boots for international markets. They operate their own tannery on-site, which means the sheepskin processing is done under one roof with full traceability.
The sheepskin itself is genuine Australian merino, sourced from Melbourne. It carries an Australian Government veterinary export certificate confirming its origin from healthy, disease-free animals on Australian farms. Naturally temperature-regulating, antimicrobial, and odour-resistant — the same material that has made UGG boots iconic, now lining the sleep surface, inner walls, and pillow of every bed we make.
Inside, deep orthopedic memory foam — up to 10cm in the flagship, roughly five times thicker than typical “orthopedic” beds — genuinely cushions joints and pressure points. Not a marketing label. An engineering decision.
Verified, Not Claimed
Every Material Independently Certified
Claims are easy. Certificates aren’t. Every material in the Signature Range carries independent third-party verification:
Sheepskin — Australian Government veterinary export certificate, confirming origin from healthy, disease-free animals on Australian farms.
Memory foam — independently tested by SGS across 11 Australian and international chemical safety standards, including heavy metals, phthalates, and formaldehyde.
Waterproof liner — OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class I certified, the same standard required for infant articles.
Suede outer — OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
Built to Last Years, Not Seasons
The Real Cost
A typical dog bed is replaced every season or two. The Signature Range is engineered for years of daily use. The high-density structural foam shell does not compress and permanently holds its shape. The sheepskin can be professionally cleaned and restored. The memory foam pillow is a removable, replaceable component.
Across its life, a Furretti bed costs about 32 cents a sleep. Quality is only expensive once.
Australian Owned & Operated
Furretti is a trading name of Dynamic Global Enterprises Pty Ltd. We are 100% Australian owned and operated, with our distribution centre in Smithfield, New South Wales.

What We Believe
Our Standards
A dog bed is furniture. It lives in your home every day. It should earn its place there.
Materials should be proven, not promised. If we can’t certify it, we don’t use it.
Durability is a design choice. We build for years because replacement is waste.
Honesty builds trust. We tell you what each material is, where it comes from, and how it was tested. No vague claims. No marketing language without substance.
Designed by us. Engineered for years. Verified by science.
Welcome to Furretti.
