Caring for your UGG Range bed

Your bed is built from several premium materials, each with its own care needs. Detailed instructions are also printed on the sewn-in care tag — please don’t remove it.

Removable Sheepskin Pillow Cover

Washable · YKK Zip

Unzips via its YKK zip for washing. Cold hand wash preferred (max 30°C) with an enzyme-free, lanolin-safe wool wash only. Never use bleach or fabric softener. Gently press out the water — don’t wring — and air dry in the shade, away from direct sunlight or heat. Brush gently with a wire pet brush while damp and again when fully dry to restore the pile.

Honest note: home washing naturally alters the original factory-machined plushness. The factory finish uses industrial brushing machines that are difficult to fully replicate at home. Spot cleaning is the safest and recommended approach — wash only when truly needed.

Outer Sheepskin

Built-In · Wipe Clean Only

The outer sheepskin forms part of the bed’s structure and is not removable. Wipe clean only with a clean, white damp cloth. Do not soak, submerge, or machine wash.

Memory Foam Pillow

Spot Clean Only

Spot clean only with a clean, white damp cloth. Do not submerge, soak, or machine wash. The waterproof inner liner sits between the pillow and the shell, protecting the foam from accidents. Make sure the foam is completely dry before reassembling.

Waterproof Inner Liner

Washable · YKK Zip

Unzips via its YKK zip. Hand wash cold (max 30°C) with a mild detergent. Do not scrub vigorously. Air dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry.

Suede Exterior & Rubber Base

Wipe Clean Only

Wipe clean with a clean, white damp cloth only. Do not soak, submerge, or machine wash.

Structural Foam Shell

Spot Clean Only

Spot clean only with a clean, white damp cloth. Do not machine wash or soak. Ensure foam is completely dry before reassembling the bed.

Important — Please Read

Always use a white cloth for any spot-cleaning or wiping. Coloured cloths can cause permanent dye transfer to the sheepskin and suede.

Avoid enzyme-based detergents across every component. Enzymes break down the natural lanolin in sheepskin.

Never use bleach or fabric softener on any part of the bed.

Never tumble dry any component. Air dry only, in the shade.

Keep away from fire and open flames.

Natural Characteristics

Not Defects

Shedding: Genuine sheepskin may shed lightly, especially in the first few weeks. This is a natural characteristic of real wool and settles with time.

Natural variation: Colours are very close between hides, but slight variations in texture and wool density are normal. Each hide is unique — this is a hallmark of genuine sheepskin, not a flaw.

Pillow firmness: The memory foam pillow is firm by design, providing orthopedic joint support. It will soften and conform during a short break-in period.
