The Golden Rule of Washing

For all machine-washable items, always select the lowest spin speed (Low RPM) on your machine. High-speed spinning can crush fibres and distort the shape of the product.

1. The "Zip-Off" Collection (Beds with Removable Covers)

Models: Bosco, Tramonto, Volta, Viaggio

These beds are engineered with fully removable covers for deep cleaning.

  • Preparation: Unzip and remove all inner pillows, foam inserts, and bolsters.

    • For the Viaggio: Ensure the rear support foam is removed.

  • Washing the Covers: Machine wash the outer covers on a 30°C cycle.

    • Crucial: Use the lowest spin setting to protect the fabric weave.

  • Washing the Inserts: The inner pillows utilize our antibacterial PP fibres. While they can be machine washed on a cold cycle, we recommend hand washing them to prolong their lifespan.

  • Drying: Air dry only. Do not tumble dry the covers or the inserts.

2. The "Whole-Wash" Collection (One-Piece Beds)

Models: Nuvola, Fiore, Aura

Designed for effortless maintenance. These beds don't have removable covers and go straight into the machine.

  • Method: Place the entire bed into the washing machine.

  • Cycle: Wash on a 30°C cycle using the lowest spin speed. High RPMs can damage the internal structure.

  • Drying: Air dry only. Ensure the bed is fully dry before use.

3. The Hybrid Collection (Livorno)

Model: Livorno

  • The Pillow: The central pillow has a removable cover. Unzip and wash cover at 30°C (Low Spin). Inner pillow: cold cycle.

  • The Frame: The main body does not unzip. Machine wash the frame on a 30°C cycle (Low Spin).

  • Drying: Air dry all components.

4. Luxury Travel Carriers (Bags)

Models: Allegro, Nido, Vento

Your carrier is fully washable, provided structural components are removed first.

  • Step 1 (Structure): Remove inner base pillow. Unzip pillow cover and take out the PE Board (rigid base) and inner sponge.

  • Step 2 (Straps): Detach removable shoulder straps.

  • Step 3 (Wash): Machine wash bag and pillow cover on 30°C cycle with Lowest Spin Speed.

  • Step 4 (Dry): Air dry only. Reassemble when dry.

5. The Carina Sling

Model: Carina

  • Preparation: Remove the PE Board inside the base cover.

  • Wash: Machine wash the entire sling on a 30°C cycle (Low Spin).

  • Dry: Air dry flat.

6. Car Seat Protectors

Model: Avventura

  • Washing: Machine wash on a Cold, Gentle Cycle.

    • Important: Use the lowest spin setting. High spinning can damage the waterproof backing.

  • Drying: Hang to dry. Do not tumble dry (heat damages non-slip backing).

Professional Finishing & Aesthetics (The "Salon" Look)

To keep your Furetti looking showroom-new, we recommend these finishing steps after air drying.

General Crease Removal (All Products): If any fabric has creases from washing or shipping, a steam iron set to LOW heat can be gently used to smooth the material.

Faux Fur Care (Maximum Volume): Applicable to: Nuvola, Tramonto, Vento, Carina Sling, and Volta Inner Pillows. To achieve the signature "cloud-like" aesthetics and separate the fine fibres:

  1. A steam iron on low heat can be gently used on the fur.

  2. For best results, use a blow dryer (cool or warm setting) while gently brushing the fur with your hand against the grain. This separates the fibres and creates maximum volume.

Velvet Care (Plush Finish): Applicable to: Livorno and Volta. Our premium velvet can also be gently ironed on low heat. A blow dryer can be used to fluff the velvet pile, restoring its luxurious, smooth texture.
