Carina Sling Setup Guide

Unlike our beds, the Carina Sling does not require vacuum compression, so it arrives ready for immediate adventures! While it doesn't need time to expand, a little attention to the faux fur will ensure it looks as plush and luxurious as possible.

Step-by-Step Refresh

1. Unpack & Adjust:
Remove the sling from its packaging. The Carina features adjustable straps, so take a moment to adjust the buckles to fit your body comfortably before placing your pet inside.

2. Shake & Fluff:
Give the sling a gentle shake to loosen the fur fibres that may have settled during transit.

3. The "Showroom" Finish (Optional):
If you want the faux fur to look incredibly fluffy and soft:

• Steam: Lightly glide a steam iron over the fur (do not press down hard) to relax the fibres.
• Blow Dry: Immediately follow up with a blow dryer on a warm setting. This separates the fibres and creates maximum volume.

Result:
Your Carina Sling is now perfectly adjusted, fluffy, and ready for a day out!

Carina Sling Care Instructions

Keeping your Carina Sling fresh and stylish is effortless. Designed for convenience, this sling is fully machine washable, making it easy to clean up after any adventure.

Washing Instructions

Preparation: The Carina Sling is a single-piece design with no removable pillows or loose filling to worry about. simply ensure the sling is empty.

Method: Place the entire sling in the washing machine. Wash on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent and cold water to preserve the softness of the faux fur and the integrity of the mesh backing.

Drying & Finishing

Air Dry Only: Hang the sling to dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry, as high heat can damage the faux fur.

The Ultimate Fluff: To restore the fur's original plushness after washing, we recommend a two-step finish:

1. Steam: Once dry, lightly steam the fur to smooth it out.
2. Blow Dry: Use a blow dryer on a warm setting immediately after steaming. This is the secret to getting that "brand new" soft and fluffy texture.

1. Returns Policy (Change of Mind)

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Category A: Vacuum Sealed Products (e.g., Beds)
Due to hygiene reasons and the nature of these products, we strictly cannot accept returns if the vacuum seal has been opened. Once the seal is broken, the product expands and cannot be repackaged or resold. To be eligible for a return, the item must remain unopened inside its original vacuum-sealed packaging. If you are unsure about the size or style, please do not break the seal until you are certain, or contact our support team for advice before opening.

Category B: Standard Packaged Products (e.g., Bags, Accessories)
For items that are not vacuum sealed, you may return them even if the outer packaging has been opened, provided they are completely unused. The item must be in brand-new condition with all original tags attached. It must be free from pet hair, odours, stains, or signs of wear.

How to Initiate a Return:
Contact support@furretti.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to request a return authorization.

Shipping Costs:
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend using a trackable service as we are not responsible for lost returns.

Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect the item to confirm it meets the above conditions, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Note: Items purchased on "Final Sale" are not eligible for change of mind returns.

2. Warranty Policy

Dynamic Global Enterprises Pty Ltd (trading as Furretti) provides a 12-Month Manufacturer Warranty to the original purchaser.

What is Covered:
We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:

• Manufacturing faults such as defective stitching, broken zippers, or faulty hardware present at the time of delivery or developing during normal use.
• Structural defects arising from the manufacturing process.

What is NOT Covered:
This warranty is strictly for manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by external factors. Specifically, our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear resulting from regular washing and intended use.
• Damages caused by rough handling or aggressive use by pets, including bites, rips, burns, tears, excessive scratching, stains, and liquid or moisture damage.
• Damage arising from commercial use, such as in hotels, kennels, or retail environments.
• Improper Care, including damage resulting from failure to adhere to care instructions (e.g. washing incorrectly).
• Damage incurred by using the cover on a bed that is not a Furretti Bed. Covers designed for our beds may become stretched or ill-fitting if placed over incompatible products.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect (regardless of whether it has been opened or used):

• Email support@furretti.com.au.
• Include your Order Number and clear photos or video showing the defect.
• If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Petite & Teacup Breeds

• Best For: This sling is tailored for the tiniest companions who love to be carried. It creates a snug, kangaroo-style pouch that is perfect for "teacup" sizes and very small puppies.
• Recommended Breeds: Chihuahua, Maltese Terrier, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle, and Yorkshire Terrier.
• Key Features: Adjustable cross-body straps ensure the sling sits at the perfect height, while the breathable mesh backing prevents overheating. The safety mesh drawstring adds an extra layer of security for wiggle-prone pets.
