Your Volta Bed arrives vacuum-sealed to save space during shipping. While the bolsters will naturally inflate over 24–48 hours, the signature hood requires a little assistance to reach its full structural height. The fabric fibers need to expand to hold the canopy up, but you can fast-track this process and have the bed ready for use in just 15 minutes by following these steps:

Fluff & Massage: Immediately after removing the packaging, give the bed a good shake. Vigorously massage the inner fur bolsters and pillow to help air re-enter the filling.

Steam (Essential for Structure): This is the most important step for the Volta bed. To make the hood stand up properly, you must use a steam iron on the outer velvet fabric. The steam penetrates the fibers, allowing them to expand and providing the necessary structure for the canopy to hold its shape. You should also steam the internal fur bolsters to smooth out creases. Important: Keep the steam iron in constant motion over the velvet and fur to avoid concentrating heat in one spot.

Blow Dry: Finish by using a hair dryer on the fabric. This removes any residual dampness from the steam and separates the plush fur fibers, leaving the bed volumized, dry, and structurally sound.

⚠️ CAUTION: Please be careful not to apply direct, high heat for too long. Keep the steam iron moving at all times and hold the hair dryer at a safe distance to avoid burning or melting the fabric.

Keeping your Volta Bed plush and luxurious is simple. The bed features a sophisticated velvet outer shell with a soft polyester fur interior, designed for comfort and easy maintenance.

Washing Instructions

Preparation: The bed features a removable central pillow cover. Additionally, the internal bolsters are removable via zippers located inside the bed. Please unzip and remove the pillow insert and all bolster inserts before washing.

Method: Once the inserts are removed, machine wash the outer cover on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent.

Drying & Finishing

Air Dry Only: Hang the cover to dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry.

Steam for Structure (Important): To ensure the hood maintains its standing structure and to remove creases, you must use a steam iron on the outer velvet fabric. The steam helps expand the fibers, allowing the canopy to stand up. You can also steam the inner fur to smooth it out. Important: Keep the steam iron in constant motion to avoid concentrating heat in one spot.

Volumizing: After steaming, use a blow dryer to finish the look. This removes any residual dampness and separates the fur fibers, leaving the bed volumized and plush.

1. Returns Policy (Change of Mind)

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Category A: Vacuum Sealed Products (e.g., Beds)
Due to hygiene reasons and the nature of these products, we strictly cannot accept returns if the vacuum seal has been opened. Once the seal is broken, the product expands and cannot be repackaged or resold. To be eligible for a return, the item must remain unopened inside its original vacuum-sealed packaging. If you are unsure about the size or style, please do not break the seal until you are certain, or contact our support team for advice before opening.

Category B: Standard Packaged Products (e.g., Bags, Accessories)
For items that are not vacuum sealed, you may return them even if the outer packaging has been opened, provided they are completely unused. The item must be in brand-new condition with all original tags attached. It must be free from pet hair, odours, stains, or signs of wear.

How to Initiate a Return:
Contact support@furretti.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to request a return authorization.

Shipping Costs:
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend using a trackable service as we are not responsible for lost returns.

Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect the item to confirm it meets the above conditions, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Note: Items purchased on "Final Sale" are not eligible for change of mind returns.

2. Warranty Policy

Dynamic Global Enterprises Pty Ltd (trading as Furretti) provides a 12-Month Manufacturer Warranty to the original purchaser.

What is Covered:
We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:

• Manufacturing faults such as defective stitching, broken zippers, or faulty hardware present at the time of delivery or developing during normal use.
• Structural defects arising from the manufacturing process.

What is NOT Covered:
This warranty is strictly for manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by external factors. Specifically, our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear resulting from regular washing and intended use.
• Damages caused by rough handling or aggressive use by pets, including bites, rips, burns, tears, excessive scratching, stains, and liquid or moisture damage.
• Damage arising from commercial use, such as in hotels, kennels, or retail environments.
• Improper Care, including damage resulting from failure to adhere to care instructions (e.g. washing incorrectly).
• Damage incurred by using the cover on a bed that is not a Furretti Bed. Covers designed for our beds may become stretched or ill-fitting if placed over incompatible products.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect (regardless of whether it has been opened or used):

• Email support@furretti.com.au.
• Include your Order Number and clear photos or video showing the defect.
• If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Finding the right fit for your Volta Bed is simple. The Small size is specifically designed for petite breeds up to 37cm long, like Chihuahuas or Toy Poodles, offering a cozy, hooded retreat.

Sizing & Dimensions
To ensure your dog has the most comfortable sleep possible, we recommend choosing a size based on your dog's body length (measured from nose to tail base).

Small Size

• Best For: Dogs with a body length up to 37cm.
• Recommended Breeds: Chihuahua, Maltese Terrier, Miniature Dachshund, Miniature Poodle, Papillon, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle, and Yorkshire Terrier.
• Dimensions: External 61 x 61 x 40cm | Internal Sleeping Area 35 x 35cm.

How to Measure: Measure your dog from the nose to the base of the tail to see which size suits them best.
