Volta Carrier Bed-Bag Unboxing & Setup Guide

To ensure your carrier arrives safely, we vacuum-seal it for shipping. When you first open the package, the bag may look flat or creased. While it will naturally expand to its full shape over 24–48 hours, following these simple steps will help you achieve the perfect structure in just 15 minutes.

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Unpack with Care:
Carefully cut open the vacuum-sealed packaging, ensuring you do not damage the fabric. Remove the carrier and discard the plastic.

2. Shake & Fluff:
Give the bed a vigorous shake to separate the internal filling. Massage the sides and the central cushion to encourage air to circulate back into the fibers.

3. Steam for Structure (Important):
Because this is a car seat and carrier, structure is key. Use a steam iron on the polyester outer fabric to relax the fibers. This removes shipping creases and helps the walls stand up firm and straight. Note: Keep the iron moving to avoid overheating one spot.

4. The Final Touch:
For a fresh, showroom look, go over the fabric with a blow dryer on a warm setting. This helps remove any residual moisture from the steaming process and adds volume to the cushion.

Viaggio Carrier Care Instructions

The Viaggio is designed for hassle-free maintenance. Both the central base and the surrounding walls feature zippers with removable inserts, allowing you to wash the entire outer cover easily.

Washing Instructions

Preparation: This bag features a fully removable insert system.
1. Unzip the central base and remove the inner cushion.
2. Unzip the internal lining of the walls and remove the bolster inserts.
3. Crucial: Ensure the rear support sponge is removed from the back panel.
Method: Once all inserts and the sponge are removed, machine wash the outer cover on a 30°C cycle using a mild detergent.

Important: You must select the LOWEST SPIN SPEED (Low RPM) to protect the high-quality fabric and hardware.
Inner Inserts: The bolster pillows can be washed on a separate cold cycle, but we recommend hand washing them to prolong their lifespan. The rear sponge should be hand washed only.

Drying & Finishing

Air Dry Only: Hang the cover to dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry.

Steam & Refresh: To keep the woven exterior looking crisp and wrinkle-free, we recommend using a steam iron on low heat. Gently steaming the fabric will smooth out any creases from washing.

The Ultimate Fluff: For the faux fur pillow, use a blow dryer on a cool/warm setting while gently brushing it. This separates the fibres and restores the soft, cloud-like texture.

1. Returns Policy (Change of Mind)

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, you may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery, subject to the conditions below.

Category A: Vacuum Sealed Products (e.g., Beds)
Due to hygiene reasons and the nature of these products, we strictly cannot accept returns if the vacuum seal has been opened. Once the seal is broken, the product expands and cannot be repackaged or resold. To be eligible for a return, the item must remain unopened inside its original vacuum-sealed packaging. If you are unsure about the size or style, please do not break the seal until you are certain, or contact our support team for advice before opening.

Category B: Standard Packaged Products (e.g., Bags, Accessories)
For items that are not vacuum sealed, you may return them even if the outer packaging has been opened, provided they are completely unused. The item must be in brand-new condition with all original tags attached. It must be free from pet hair, odours, stains, or signs of wear.

How to Initiate a Return:
Contact support@furretti.com.au within 30 days of receiving your order to request a return authorization.

Shipping Costs:
Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend using a trackable service as we are not responsible for lost returns.

Refunds:
Once we receive and inspect the item to confirm it meets the above conditions, we will process a refund to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the funds to appear in your account.

Note: Items purchased on "Final Sale" are not eligible for change of mind returns.

2. Warranty Policy

Dynamic Global Enterprises Pty Ltd (trading as Furretti) provides a 12-Month Manufacturer Warranty to the original purchaser.

What is Covered:
We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. This warranty covers:

• Manufacturing faults such as defective stitching, broken zippers, or faulty hardware present at the time of delivery or developing during normal use.
• Structural defects arising from the manufacturing process.

What is NOT Covered:
This warranty is strictly for manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by external factors. Specifically, our warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear and tear resulting from regular washing and intended use.
• Damages caused by rough handling or aggressive use by pets, including bites, rips, burns, tears, excessive scratching, stains, and liquid or moisture damage.
• Damage arising from commercial use, such as in hotels, kennels, or retail environments.
• Improper Care, including damage resulting from failure to adhere to care instructions (e.g. washing incorrectly).
• Damage incurred by using the cover on a bed that is not a Furretti Bed. Covers designed for our beds may become stretched or ill-fitting if placed over incompatible products.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect (regardless of whether it has been opened or used):

• Email support@furretti.com.au.
• Include your Order Number and clear photos or video showing the defect.
• If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to you, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

To ensure your dog travels in comfort, we recommend this size for dogs with a body length not exceeding 34cm (measured from nose to tail base).

• Recommended Breeds: Chihuahua, Maltese Terrier, Miniature Dachshund, Miniature Poodle, Papillon, Pomeranian, Toy Poodle, and Yorkshire Terrier.
• Dimensions: External 55 x 48 x 32cm | Internal Sleeping Area 37 x 37cm.
• Material: 100% Polyester fabric with white polypropylene fiber filling.

How to Measure: Measure your dog from the nose to the base of the tail to ensure they fit comfortably within the 34cm limit.
